Obita Joins Scunthorpe On Loan

Obita is tipped as a hot prospect for the future

Nov 2012: Highly rated 18 year old Jordan Obita completed a loan move to Scunthorpe that will see him play out the rest of the season in League 1.

The youngster who has been linked with Bolton and Fulham has only managed 1 substitute appearance for the Royals this term and boss Ally Clark felt it would benefit Obita to play regular first team football.

“Obita is young and enthusiastic so I felt it unfair to let him sit on the bench for us. He made 20 appearances for us last term but so far has struggled to step up to the Premiership. He’s only 18 though and I’m confident the boy will be a huge player for us in years to come”
